‘Forum of Immigrant Influencers of Silicon Valley’ organized by Femigrants Foundation, provided participants the perfect environment and exposure, to take the next steps towards expanding their own influence. The event was organized to celebrate the successful completion of two years of the organization.
Bringing together both female and male immigrants on a common platform to share their unique and inspirational stories of growth, challenges and change, the event successfully addressed issues that lie at the very core of the immigrant experience.
Though the topics for the event were centered around issues of diversity and acceptance, it was also very much about reinventing oneself, climbing the corporate ladder, growth marketing, professional networking and so on.
There were two panel discussions, and while the first focused on ways to carve out a career as a corporate lead, the second panel talked about using social media for positive impact.
The Keynote Speaker for the evening was the very dynamic young entrepreneur Kwiri Yang, Founder and CEO of LifeGyde. Kwiri is an activist and the youngest Board Director of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
Other speakers and moderators who contributed to this very informative and exciting evening were,
